Tuesdays, 5 to 9 PM. Bring the bike, bring whoever, get a grinder.

Suzy rides. So the store's biggest night is the one where the lot fills with motorcycles, the porch fills with people, and the deli runs flat out. Riders welcome, non-riders very welcome.

Trail stop

The Trestle Trail ends at the porch.

Park at the Trestle Trail lot on the Coventry Greenway, walk a few steps, and there's a sandwich.

Hikers, cyclists and kayakers on their way to the ponds have been stopping here since the store reopened. Grab a grinder and a cold drink for the trail, or come back for ice cream when you're done. Plenty of off-street parking, rockers on the porch, tables on the side.

The story

Closed for three years. Not anymore.

The Summit General Store sold milk, eggs, cold cuts, feed and stamps to western Coventry for 55 years, and it was the last real general store in the state. In January 2023 it closed, and the building sat dark. Suzy Quattrocchi, who ran Suzy Q's Place in Scituate for 27 years, bought it, did the renovation herself, and cut the ribbon on May 17, 2025 with a hundred people in line.

Things people ask before they drive out.

Can I eat there, or is it take-out?

Both. There are stools at the counter and tables inside, rockers on the front porch, and tables on the side porch. Or take it to the trail.

Can I call ahead for sandwiches?

Yes. Call (401) 477-2818 with the order and it'll be ready when you pull in. A good idea on Tuesday nights and summer weekends.

What's the Suzy Q special?

The sandwich customers keep naming in reviews. Ask at the counter; it's the one to try first.

Do you sell groceries, or just food?

Both. Milk, eggs, produce, cold cuts, snacks, drinks, dog and cat food, and the basics, so you don't have to drive to Route 117 for a gallon of milk.

Where do I park for the Trestle Trail?

The Trestle Trail lot on the Coventry Greenway is right beside the store, and the store has its own off-street parking too.

Is Bike Night only for motorcycles?

No. It's just busiest with them. Tuesdays 5 to 9, everyone's welcome, and the deli is open the whole time.
